Sometimes reality series work for their horrible characters.
“Survivor” has two of the worst players in reality show history this season: Coach and Tyson. They are preening, know-it-all jerks. And they have helped make “Survivor” must-see television: Fans have waited for them to get what’s coming to them.

Sierra may have verbally thrown herself on her sword, as Coach metaphorically (we hope) encouraged her to do, but the self-effacing model survived to kick herself, capoeira-style, another day.
