Taj best summed up JT’s victory, arguing that no one ever proposed voting for him and his name ''just never came up because he was too sweet,'' and said, ''you just can’t find anything wrong with him.''
Stephen was the first person JT hugged after Jeff Probst read the votes.
Taj best summed up JT’s victory, arguing that no one ever proposed voting for him and his name “just never came up because he was too sweet,” and said, “you just can’t find anything wrong with him.”
Part of his smart game play was that he never let that manifest itself as cockiness or arrogance — pretty much the exact opposite of this season’s larger-than-life player, Benjamin “Coach” Wade.
Coach was the opposite of shy, always talking himself up, but JT never came close to that. There’s a reason why JT outplayed and outlasted Coach, who never would have won against JT, Stephen, or Taj — or arguably, even Erinn.
Sometimes, the smartest player isn’t the person who constantly says they’re the smartest player, but the one who just shows his true self through his actions.

I was NOT surprised that JT won. He did an amazing job at all things including being charming. I was disgusted that they voted off Taj! I have been dissappointed with the last couple of finale shows though. They spend soooo much time talking about the last 4 or 5 players that we don’t get to hear hardly anything of the first ones voted off EXCEPT for a 10 second spot for each. They are also a big part of the game. To give that blabbermouth so much time for his BS.

They spend so much time talking to the last 4 or 5 players that they neglect the others who are also a BIG part of the game. I DIDN’T want to hear a bunch of BS from the blabbermouth! Finales are getting really predictable.

For the first time (since I started watching Survivor), the very best person was picked to win! JT couldn’t have deserved it more. Incredible integrity.

I think the right person won…he played hard and played fair the entire game. My only wish is if the $ 100,000 player award would go to the next highest vote getter if the million person is the same winner. I think Taj was a fair and honest player the entire show and the graciousness she afforded them with family challenges and her personality was deserving of that $ 100,000 award. Maybe the producers could rethink that for future shows. Also, didn’t they used to give cars/trucks? In light of the auto makers economy right now I understand but can’t something else be awarded in it’s place? Just my opinion……….

My husband and I were so excited that we were sitting in our recliners “yahooing” and clapping when J.T. won! He is, hands down, the nicest person who ever played the game……and we’ve watched them all. We didn’t exactly hate coach, but, we hated the way he played and how arrogant he was and so damn cock sure. J.T. was the essence of humility. Ya gotta love that guy. I’m so happy for him. Janet and Richard Gingras, Cumberland, RI

I don’t understand why everyone hates Coach so much. Though he is full of himself, a braggart, and pretentious, he was not a malicious, back-stabbing slime-ball. We’ve seen lots of those on Survivor and that kind of behavior is accepted as okay. Then Coach comes along and talks about honor and seems to try his best to play the game with integrity, and is maligned. Did he exaggerate his stories? ..probably, but he never pretended to be someone he was not in the game itself. (Like those who smile to your face while stabbing you in the back) Maybe everyone disliked him because his honor and integrity showed up their lack of it.

I would like to see someone other the million dollar winner get the 100 thousand. The million winner should be taken out of the running, if they are the number one picked, then it should go to the nest in line.

I AGREE. I THINK THE WINNER SHOULD BE MENTIONED AS THE MOST LIKED IF HE IS BUT THE SECOND BEST LIKED SHOULD WIN THE $100,000 AS THE WINNER ALREADY HAS THE MILLION.
